Classic – the Refined Beauty

Some women are dignified, sophisticated and professional in all their ways. Those who are Classic in style are graceful and conservative and a pleasure to look. A balanced figure and proportionate features give evidence to her character. The Classic woman (or man or child…) tends to be very proper  and detailed in all areas of life.

Like a rose, the Refined Beauty has a guard about her, making it rather difficult to get to know her at first. In her younger years, she is tight and withdrawn and a bit protective of her heart. When upset, her words may be sharp, but in general, she doesn’t speak up unless spoken to.

Peace makes or breaks the Classic’s beauty

Because she prefers a conservative image and she tends to keep her thoughts to herself,  The Classic‘s presence commands respect. Unfortunately, if she does not understand herself, she may read the respect of others as rejection, which only feeds into her independent nature. “I don’t need them anyway.” Is a common response of the Refined Beauty .

As this girl matures, she opens up and is more apt to offer her heart, which is a blessing of wisdom to those who are so privileged.

The Rose is an example of how confidence affects beauty.

A single rose in a vase is lovely but a rose properly placed in a bouquet, or surrounded by baby’s breath is captivating and inviting. The Classic‘s elegant beauty is most powerful when it is working together with the strengths of those around her. She is an administrator, advisor or great mentor.

This is why it’s important to understand our children’s Img.ID. How we raise our children will influence their confidence, strength and beauty –but more on that to come.

Whether or not your Image Identity (or Img.ID) is a Classic or not, if you are a women who guards her heart by determining to not need others, I encourage you to fight the tendency to stand alone. Others need what you have to offer, just as you need them; this is not a weakness, this is a fact of life.
